Welcome, Fellow Appreciators
Since 1865, the rolling farmlands of Seymour, Tennessee, have been home to some of the region's most impressive vertical structures. The Silo Appreciation Society was founded to honor, preserve, and celebrate these towering monuments to agricultural heritage.

We believe size matters in grain storage. Our members are dedicated to documenting, measuring, and appreciating silos in all their forms: tall, short, thick, slender, and everything in between. We do not discriminate based on girth.

A Proud History
What began as a small group of farmers comparing silos over moonshine has grown into a respected organization spanning dozens of members across Sevier County. Our founder, Jedidiah Seymour, famously declared: "A man's silo says a lot about him."
We couldn't agree more.
